A thaw set in today. Letters from Cliff and Jack. Cliff has left the order office – gone upstairs.

Took my stray cat back to the waterside, in a suitcase. Let her out and followed to a garage nearby. This was her home. Grateful owners.

Tomorrow is February's last day. After that, March. And then March 19th! Nothing done yet! Heinz Ltd, have not written since the interview, (Alas! They never did) If I don’t get that job, - Police will be the next shot!
