I haven’t been reading papers much lately, but it seems Germany has caused another crisis. This evening’s headlines:

“German Army Enters Prague” “Boos and hisses: Weeping crowds sing Czech National Anthem: Nazis order curfew.” “Czech State becomes a German Protectorate”

So bloody Hitler has taken “the Czech state” after all the furore of last autumn!
“Czecho-slovakia” is no more, as Slovakia became an independent state, under German “protection” earlier this week.
