Sunday 31st March 1940
Orderly Bombardier so I couldn’t leave camp. (Always on duty at the weekend, see?)
Felt stiff this morning but after breakfast I had a shower and washed underclothes, towel and what-not (singing right lustily the while) and felt fine. It is not too hot today and up to the present – nearly lunchtime now – there have been no duties apart from the sick parade.
