There are not many patients in this part of the ward now, and I've moved into a corner bed, opposite Brown's. It is a very snug position with wall on two sides and also, this particular bed is nice and low so that one can sit writing (as now) with one's feet firmly on the floor instead of uncomfortably a-dangle in mid-air.
