Friday 10th and Saturday 11th February 1933

Left 9.0 p.m. both nights. Have to serve cooked meats, sometimes when in the shop, and usually make a hash of it. I hate the work, serving especially. This journal is to be more personal in future, more inconsequent. Nothing shall be entered just because it happened, for the sake of conventions. I chiefly wish to record impressions rather than events.
