Spent the morning watching Mr. Hill pull some strings (he’s a friend of Dads). Visited the Labour Exchange and was introduced to various officials. My prospects of getting a job are changed enormously now. Wrote to Lincs. Sugar Beet Co., Bardney for a job and am also to write to Lindsey County Council.
