Sunday 11th February 1934
A few minutes after writing those optimistic thoughts last night I was upstairs, head between my knees, feeling deadly ill! After three quarters of an hour I recovered enough to be able to go to bed. One pipe too many, I suppose!
Harvey very friendly today. Yes, much pleasanter, thank heavens. Our antagonism troubles my conscience.
Walk with Withey, twixt lunch and tea, Callow Hill, Stroude and Egham Hythe. Sunny yet cold. Nothing vivid happened this day. Bed 10.30 tonight.
