Tuesday 6th February 1934

Evening: not wishing to stay at digs I went out. Talking at the watch mans hut for an hour, then went to TocH but could not do anything as the room was being used.
Talked to the verger (caretaker) for some time and got back to digs about 9.15.

Ate pastries which had come from home, clad in my over coat (no fire). Listened to the wireless awhile. Now it is 10.15. I will go to bed; ought to have gone an hour ago.
