Well, it is three days since the Affair of the Brown Eyed Girl and I do not seem to be suffering unduly. No sorrowful, troubled thoughts, for instance. My emotions do not lie; they are natural, not affected.

They say that this was not love but just a moonlight flirtation. And for once, I did not neglect an opportunity. Surprising but hopeful!
