Horrible Parkes and Elegant Edgar R Burrows have gone to another ward. In place of the former nuisance we now have The Boat Toucher in this ward. He is very puggled-looking and never stops talking nonsense. Rumour avers that he once made a break away (from the Beer y'aquav hospital) and reached Haifa docks, where he just had time to caress the side of a Blighty-bound ship before being arrested.
Difficult to see the stars lately because of night clouds; located Cetus last night however. Orionis now rises before lights-out time, but is not very observable, being low in the misty east.
