Saturday 8th April 1933
An afternoon with the H.F. Hot. Met at Monks Abbey. May, Gwen and George. Blisters on my feet; soon felt tired. Fields, Nettleham, Sudbrooke, the Park. Miss Gilbert, the owner of the park, and the proposed Y.N. Unemployed men’s enterprising basket factory. Across the park to the lake side. Tea by the water. Horace’s tantrums. Chapel. Woody paths. The main road, By fields to Reepham. Dusk. The path by the railway. Cool of the evening. Moonlight. Cherry Willingham. Lincoln.
