Evening: Bought some of my old favourites – Abdulla Salisbury – and some St. Julian Empire tobacco. Pipe smoking soon makes me feel dizzy, so should be economical!

Staines library, issuing books and filing the cards. And watching the people go by. 170 books out tonight.

(2006 The library was a very pleasant TocH job. However it is odd that the public library in a town the size of Staines was run by volunteers.)
