Tuesday 14th November 1933

As I left the Works for dinner, I suddenly saw Peggy, riding across the Medes! Fresh sunlight morning. Would she see me? She did. We walked across the Medes together, she leading the grey pony. She had not known Harvey would be unable to ramble with us on Sunday – but it made no difference!

At work, (we were emptying the gum pots) the afternoon went swiftly. Evening: Again we three went to Staines cinema. But the happiest time of this happy day was when we walked across the Medes together, she leading the grey pony.
