Lithos at work. Regulating fires most of the day. Cleaner work but not so interesting; time goes slower.
TocH meeting at Laleham again. A crowd of us met en-route and walked together. Speakers from London (Lieut. Col. Grant) on TocH traditions and ideals. Tackled him about the Silence and a workmans verdict – “bloody mockery” - but he was pretty guarded in his reply. Gathered he thought Remembrance Day rather feeble. Four of us returned on foot to Staines and ran a long way, through cold, thick fog.
