Group night at TocH.
Ron and I giving highly exaggerated accounts of the Badminton girl. We are having a Group debate soon; “Fellowship and Service – Which should come first?” I am to lead the Fellowship side, seconded by Ron, and must speak first. Against me are Mr. Beech – older than my father and Runnymede’s most precise and deadly arguer, and Pilot Halsall!
So in my first debate I lead the wrong side, must speak first and against two most formidable and experienced debaters! Incidentally, the subject is one in which I am not very interested.
