Evening: Recklessly spent my reserve cash at the cinema. Staines. Majestic full, so I broke my vow and went to the Empire (but first made sure about a seat!) Seems strange that I should deign to mention “pictures” in this sacred book. But what else is there to write about! The famous “Cavalcade” is coming soon! That will be worth mentioning. Have read the play long since.
