Digs this week cost more than I expected, so I had to cancel all hope of a ramble next Sunday (tomorrow). My plus-four suit arrived from home and also my TocH badge which I proudly donned.

Spent surplus ramble money on “Pictures”. Had to stand in the gangway an hour before a seat became vacant. Shall not go there again unless it is something extraordinary. Empire Cinema, I mean. The Majestic is much better. Home about 11 o’clock. Locked up, had a read. To bed about midnight.
